Occupational Health Advisor required full time split between Greenwich & Ashford

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Occupational Health Advise to join a forward-thinking and innovative Occupational Health and Well-being team. As part of the team, you will provide specialist, robust, evidence based occupational health and wellbeing advice in order to support staff health in accordance with national guidance, legislation and internal procedure to management/employer and employees.
You will be required to undertake the full remit of an Occupational Health Adviser including, but not limited to case management and health surveillance.

Strong case management skills are required for assessing fitness for work, using a biopsychosocial approach, and providing advice within the clinical report that is evidence based. To advise our customers in outcome reports opinion on Equality Act and RIDDOR requirements. The post holder may also be required to attend case conferences in line with service protocols to support a multidisciplinary approach to case management.
Ensure Occupational Health individual records are kept confidentially and within data protection regulations.
Triaging of E-OPAS portal work.

Contribute narrative to monthly management information reports for customers.
Participation in wellbeing events and advising on general wellbeing/ contributing to monthly blog.
Dealing with occupational health clinical client and customer queries.
Flexibility to work at customer sites, as required, within working hours.
To participate in all benchmarking and quality audits within the department such as
SEQOHS.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Occupational Health issues within the specialty and
ensure this reflects in own practice.

Person Specification

Qualifications
Registered NMC Nurse
Certificate, Diploma or degree in Occupational Health
Proven Occupational Health experience will be considered if no formal OH qualification.

Specific skills
3+ years' experience in Occupational Health case management.
Clinical expertise in OH particularly with regard to mental health and musculoskeletal issues.
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, outlook, teams and ideally, experience of EOPAS or similar OH software systems.
Excellent communication skills and confident to work will all levels.
Able to own an issue and problem solve.

Knowledge and Experience
Strong case management, with quality reports.
Health surveillance experience and knowledge.
Able to work autonomously and part of the wider team.
Promoting the value of work in relation to health and encouraging a proactive approach when advising on the management of health in the workplace.
