Practice Nurse – (this post offers sponsored ANP course)

This is an exciting opportunity for a Practice nurse wanting to take the next step in their career. We have a 19 hours per week position in a GP surgery; the successful candidate will be sponsored to complete the Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Prescribing course.
You will be working alongside a friendly team of GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses and ANPs to deliver an exceptional standard of patient care and support.
You must be up to date with the following:
- Asthma reviews
- Baby Immunizations
- Diabetes
- Cytology
- Chronic diseases
- COPD reviews
- Spiro
- Travel vaccinations
- B12& other injections
- Care plans for dementia
- Elderly checks
Your role will be basic Practice Nurse duties as well as offering health promotional advice such as Smoking Cessation and Weight loss advice.
You must:
- Have an enhanced DBS within 1 year of issue
- Have relevant experience and qualifications
- Be registered with NMC with Valid pin
