Dream Medical are working with a Private Hospital in Guildford who are expanding their Oncology department and therefore require a motivated leader to manage the team. Are you an experienced leader in this specialist field who is looking for a challenge and the opportunity to lead a project and develop business?

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and experienced nurse who is ready to take on this management role. You should have oncology experience including the administration of Chemotherapy and be proficient in phlebotomy, cannulation and Central Venous Access Devices. A Cancer qualification is essential.

This Macmillan sponsored unit currently accommodates around 14 patients at a time and is open Monday – Friday. An on call service is provided out of hours.

The unit treats a variety of cancers including Breast, Cervical, Ovarian, Pancreatic, GI cancers and Prostate. You will lead a team of skilled chemotherapy nurses as well as being part of a Multi-disciplinary team ensuring that our patients are treated with the best possible care. You will also assist with outpatient clinics, offering you an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge within Cancer Care. With the planned expansion of the unit we are looking to further enhance the service and provide patients with specialist nursing care.

You will be offered support for your on-going professional development to advance your clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
- You must be a Qualified RGN Nurse
- NMC Registration and Pin
- Cancer qualification
- Management experience
